i love myspace. and i dont do anything bad. im not one of those sluts with the dirty pictures. i dont talk to people i dont know. so why is it so bad? i mean these young girls make the choice to talk to people they dont know. and if theyre under age, they chose to get a profile and lie about their age. so why should they shut down myspace????
Why is myspace so bad? There are probably millions of people on MySpace. What you hear on the news is the bad stuff. My son's been on MySpace for quite a while. He doesn't get into trouble on it. If you're not careful, you can get in trouble. Those are the ones you hear about on the news. It's like a lot of things. If you use it right, it's OK. If you choose to, you can use it wrong and get in trouble. The whole internet is that way.

Why is myspace so bad? Basically it's not those girl's fault. The internet is powerful, and is manipulating young youth's minds. These girls can't make their own choices, they're not legal adults, they don't know what's right or wrong. But the predators on Myspace.com are EVIL. They use the site to find youth's addresses to rape them, and sexually molest them. I think that Myspace.com is the best thing that ever happened to the internet. Their service is cheap.
I think that it is okay for youth to use the service, as long as they keep their information PRIVATE, and don't distribute it over a large network, of preditors.

Some people use like it should be used and there are people who are pervs. I don't think it should be shut down but I do think that parents should be monitoring what their children are accessing through the Internet. Parents can go and check what Internet sites their children have visited or created. Don't keep the computer in their room that has access to the Internet. If the parent doesn't know much about computers but bought one for their children they should take the time to learn how they are using it. I know its easier said than done but a website is not making these kids do this.
