This girl is in love and you can tell it makes her stupid. I hate it when love becomes hero worship and idealization. Why can't we be mature and realistic in a relationship?

Emotionally expressive girls are not "dim-witted".... women are expressive and communicate their feelings with less reservation then men do. This doesn't make them "stupid"... they risk being rejected and that makes them vulnerable. There is a difference. Try not to be so judgemental. What you are saying about women kind of sounds egotistical and chauvenistic, to me. Men and women just have different ways of conveying their emotions, sometimes. Men seem to feel more comfortable showing their emotions through their actions rather than their words.
